Day-by-day itinerary — 6 days, 5 nights
Day 1Arrive Leh
Pick-up and complete rest to acclimatise (3,500 m).
Day 2Leh local + Sham valley
Shanti Stupa, Leh Palace, then Magnetic Hill, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib and the Sangam. Overnight in Leh.
Day 3Leh to Nubra via Khardung La
Cross the pass to Nubra. Diskit monastery and Hunder dunes. Overnight in Nubra.
Day 4Nubra to Pangong via Shyok
Scenic Shyok-river route to Pangong Tso. Sunset by the lake. Overnight near Pangong.
Day 5Pangong to Leh via Chang La
Morning at the lake, return to Leh over Chang La, visiting Thiksey and Shey en route. Overnight in Leh.
Day 6Departure
Transfer to Leh airport.

A: Fixed camps with attached bathrooms in season; simple guesthouses in the shoulder months. Both are basic - this is a remote lakeshore at 4,350 m.
